Though David Forslund was a snitch (and he might still be) for the
Vancouver and Victoria British police, he is a convicted criminal.
In 1971 he was sent to jail at the William Head Penitentiary. In 1973
he was again sent to jail in a work camp near Campbell River.
In one of his famous snitch operations David Forslund literally
framed someone. David worked with the BC police to set SM up (I will
only use his initials). David convinced SM to commit an armed robbery
in Newfoundland. SM was unaware that David set him up for this robbery.
SM went to jail for one of the biggest bank robberies in Newfoundland.
David conspired and planned to commit the robbery in order to avoid
getting thrown in jail on other charges.

David Forslund had a quality of making people believe all kinds of
stories. He used to talk about how much drugs he had sold varying from
LSD to heroin. He also bragged about his various trips to Mexico to buy
heroin and smuggling it back into Canada. He was particularly proud of a
trip to Mexico, using a motorhome, where he brought back a big load of
heroin into Canada via the United States.

David Forslund has been a big time drug user since the day I met him way
back in 1967. We used to call David mush-head because he was always
stoned. It was a rare occasion seeing him sober. His step-father, I
believe his name was Eric, didn’t know what to do with him. David’s
biological father had died when David was a child. He never talked about
his family and what I wrote here is what I know from David himself.
